CONCRETE ASIA 2016, THE LARGEST CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION SHOW IN ASEAN SET TO PROVIDE THE BEST PLATFORM FOR THE ASEAN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WITH THE UPCOMING ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (AEC)

The ASIAN CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION INSTITUTE (ACCI) together with Globe International Events Consultancy Pte Ltd (GIEC) officially announced the launch of CONCRETE ASIA 2016, the international conference and exhibition focusing on concrete machinery equipment tools and technology for the construction industry. CONCRETE ASIA 2016 is managed by IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. The event aims to support the Thai construction industry that is worth over a hundred billion baht in 2016. Also, the neighboring countries of Thailand have increasingly invested in the construction of new buildings and improving on their transport infrastructure for the upcoming AEC. More than 200 top brands and companies in the concrete construction industry will be exhibiting their innovation and technology on over 13,000 square meters of exhibit space (both indoor & outdoor) and this includes a series of international workshops and seminars with renowned professional speakers from the industry. The expected number of professional trade visitors is anticipated to be around 15,000 during the 3 days trade show at Hall 4, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center.

Bangkok, Thailand, 1 September 2015 - The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) anticipates that the export rate of Thailand’s beauty market will rise 4%, to reach 7.87 trillion baht, and healthcare product will grow 5%. Cosmetics Industry Club, FTI, will be hosting the 2nd edition of Beyond Beauty ASEAN–Bangkok 2015 (BBAB2015) as ASEAN’s most comprehensive trade platform in beauty industry. Stamford International University, in collaboration with IMPACT, introduces the "Event Management" program to develop international workforce standards for the MICE industry

Stamford International University, a member of Laureate International Universities, has collaborated with IMPACT Exhibition Management Company, Muang Thong Thani Center, one of the top 5 exhibition centers in Asia, to co-develop the “Event Management” program. The MICE (Meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) industry in Thailand has an increasing need of trained staff and the program is designed to satisfy that need and grow the MICE labor workforce to meet international standards. It has the potential to generate a national income of more than 1 trillion baht per year. The program will also raise the quality of MICE staff in Thailand to an internationally competitive level.

IMPACT has MERS-CoV preventive measures in place to ensure visitors’ safety

Miss Jintana Phongpakdee, Corporate Communications Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the operator of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, said the company has acknowledged concerns about possible spread of MERS-CoV in the convention center as Herbalife Asia Pacific Extravaganza 2015 being held at IMPACT Challenger from June 12 – 14, 2015 gathers over 20,000 delegates from 12 countries in the region, of which some 4,000 people are from South Korea where MERS-CoV infections have been found, with 10 people were reported to have died.
