Thonglor Thai Cuisine recommends another way to enjoy “Durian Massaman Curry”, one of the restaurant’s popular dishes, by pairing it with butter croissant. Chef selects a fine-quality, crunchy unripe Monthong durian that does not have a strong smell for a more savoring taste. As the durian is boiled in Massaman curry, its texture will change from firm and crisp to soft golden texture, and taste mildly sweet. This recipe will give a unique taste which is different from the original one that uses potato because potato does not have a sweet taste even though the texture is smooth. Another tip for a great Durian Massaman Curry is thoroughly-pounded curry paste that will be simmered with meat until softened, giving the curry a well-balanced taste. “Durian Massaman Curry” at Thonglor Thai Cuisine is now available with the following options: “Durian and Brisket Beef Massaman Curry” (575 Baht), “Durian and Thai Wagyu Beef Massaman Curry” (850 Baht), and “Durian and Organic Chicken Massaman Curry” (450 Baht).
