Thonglor Thai Cuisine offers durian delicacies with “Thonglor Durian Festival” from 1 May until 31 July 2022

“Thonglor Thai Cuisine” pampers all durian lovers with “Thonglor Durian Festival” featuring traditional Thai and fusion dishes made with durian. It is a return of a truly creative menu of Thai food and durian recipes by chef Titirat Pachjaraen, a talented head chef who pays close attention to every step, including meticulously selecting good quality Monthong durian that has a sweet taste, unique aroma, and a unique taste when it is cooked. Moreover, durian is packed with a variety of vitamins that will help boost the immune system with moderate consumption. There are eight special durian menu items to be sold at 225 - 985 baht from 1 May to 31 July 2022. 

The eight durian-inspired dishes featured in “Thonglor Durian Festival” are “Thai Fried Rice mixed with Durian Flavor and Shrimp” (375 baht), fried rice with seasoning and durian powder and large fresh shrimps topped with fluffy fried eggs and served with fried durian, “Spicy and Sour Yellow Curry with Serrated Mud Crab and Durian” (985 baht), a famous dish of Chanthaburi province with serrated mud crab from Bang Tabun, Petchaburi, and durian cooked with Thonglor Thai Cuisine’s special spicy and sour yellow curry, “Beef Massaman Curry with Durian” (675 baht), made with under ripe durian instead of potato and simmered in coconut milk to get the soft texture and pleasant aroma, served with 

ajad (sweet and sour cucumber dip) and fresh roti, “Chicken Massaman Curry with Durian” (575 baht), an alternative choice for non-beef eaters to enjoy tender chicken stewed with curry paste and durian meat, and “Thai Spicy Fish Soup with Durian” (475 baht), a well known dish of the south with its unique hot and spicy flavor perfectly cooked with under ripe durian. In additional, durian desserts are also available including “Durian with Sticky Rice and Coconut Milk” (325 baht), ripe durian simmered in coconut milk and palm sugar offering unique aroma and the perfect salty-sweet taste accompanied with steamed sticky rice with coconut milk, “Durian in Syrup served with sticky rice and coconut milk” (585 baht), unripe durian simmered in jasmine-infused syrup accompanied with steamed sticky rice and coconut milk, and “Thai Durian Dumpling in Coconut Milk” (225 baht), durian pulp mixed with glutinous rice flour, rolled into small balls and cooked in coconut milk with palm sugar for the perfect salty-sweet taste.
