Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha (center),presided over the grand opening ceremony of the56th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair, which is regarded as the world’s fifth largest trade show in the gems and jewelry market. The event aims to promote and support the Thai gem and jewelry industry and exports to global markets. Highlights of the event include an exhibition in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess MahaChakriSirindhorn, a showcase of gems and jewelry pieces regarding excellence in design and skilled workmanship and dazzling fashion shows. In addition, a vast selection of gems and jewelry products will be sold at duty free prices. The 56th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair is being held on September 10-14, 2015 at IMPACT Challenger 1-3, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
