The 59th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair

Ms. Abhiradee Tantraporn, minister of commerce and Ms. Malee Choklumlerd, director general, department of International Trade Promotion or DITP together with other distinguished guests inaugurate the opening ceremony of the 59^th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair at the Royal Jubilee ballroom, IMPACT Challenger, held from February 22-26, 2017 at the Challenger 1-3.

Showcasing Thailand’s refined jewelry craftsmanship to reinvigorate the marketability of the Thai gems and jewelry industry on the global scale, DITP, The Department of International Trade Promotion, orchestrates the 59^th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair inviting more than 730 reputable jewelry companies to exhibit their masterpieces, develop greater connectivity, and interface with existing and new potential business partners.

This year’s highlights include “Metro Men,” jewelry to satisfy the growing demand among fashion-conscious males, “60+,” for seniors who are really into jewelry, “Pet Parade,” jewelry for beloved pets, “The Moment,” delightful jewelry for a soon-to-be-wed couple, “Culture Club,” contemporary artistic jewelry based on nature and culture, and “Spiritual Power,” jewelry for good luck, good health, or spiritual beliefs.
