The Opening Ceremony of the14th National Herb Expo

Admiral Narong Pipatanasai (center), Deputy Prime Minister, together with Clinical Professor Piyasakol  Sakolsatayadorn (3rd from right), Minister of Public Health, presided over the opening ceremony of the 14th National Herb Expo, organized by the Ministry of Public Health under the theme of ‘THAI HERBAL PRODUCT 4.0 – A CHARM OF THAINESS” to be a platform to promote Thai herbs for medical and clinical purposes and encourage local herbal experts from all around the country to discover and develop herbal products for local and international markets. The event features  academic conferences and competition, and knowledge market about Thai traditional medicine, folk medicine and progress of the National Master Plan for Herbal Medicine Development, exhibition of innovations and research, herbal business promotion activities, and booths selling quality herbal products. The event is being held during August 30 – September 3, 2017 at IMPACT Exhibition Hall 6-8, Muang Thong Thani.
