“Thailand Green Livestock Expo 2013” celebrates the 71st anniversary of the Department of Livestock Development

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mr. Yukol Limlamthong presided over “Thailand Green Livestock Expo 2013”, which is honored by Mr. Banharn Silpa-archa, Former Prime Minister and Mr. Somsak Prissananantakul, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives,  to celebrate on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Department of Livestock Development (DLD). “Thailand Green Livestock Expo 2013” is hosted under the theme of eco-friendly and aims at raising awareness on environmental issues among Thais. The event also serves as a business platform between Thai entrepreneurs and foreign importers. Furthermore, there is an exhibition of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s works showcasing his royal duty in the livestock area; and Farm Town to show cattle and many animals. The minister expects around 100,000 visitors during the 5-day event. The “Thailand Green Livestock Expo 2013” will be held at IMPACT, from May 1-5.
