Ayutthaya Provincial Office of the Non-Formal and Informal Education and Mr. Ichiro Miyazawa, Program Specialist, UNESCO Bangkok, the event took place at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Challenger Hall, on May 27, 2014
to underline risk reduction, preparedness and response as well as disseminate knowledge and information to those effected by floods and local communities. Through the generous support of the Government of Japan, UNESCO
Bangkok, and Thailand’s office of Non-formal and Informal Education (ONIE)
under the Ministry of Education, copies of a “ disaster Do and Don’t” handbook have been spread out across the country, training has been emphasized to improve community awareness in Ayautthaya districts where massively affected by the flood in 2011, and “Sai Fah”, a mobile game application has been created to let you be aware of what to do during the devastation.
