IMPACT invests one hundred fifty million baht developing new parking building, scheduled to open at end of March

Bangkok, March 22, 2010 - IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., which manages and operates IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, is investing one hundred fifty million baht developing the 10-storey IMPACT Indoor Parking 2, which will be able to accommodate more than 3,000 vehicles.

The IMPACT Indoor Parking 2, located between IMPACT Challenger and Hall 9 of IMPACT Convention Center, is scheduled for total completion in mid-2010, in time for Thailand Furniture and Houseware Fair 2010 which will be held from March 27 – April 4, 2010 at Hall 1-4, IMPACT Exhibition Center, Muang Thong Thani.

Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., said that the new parking building is developed to cater to the increasing number of visitors and exhibitors attending events at IMPACT, as well as to accommodate guests staying at the soon-to-open IMPACT Hotel.

“Once the building is fully opened, the capacity of IMPACT parking space will be expanded from 12,000 to 15,000 vehicles. Furthermore, the new building will also be installed with a Car Parking Intelligence System, allowing visitors an instant access to information of the number of cars parked in the building and the number of spaces left on which floor, offering convenience and less time-consuming.”
