IMPACT confident its F&B business to grow by 10-15% amidst economic downturn

(October 2015) IMPACT revealed its Food & Beverage (F&B) business outlook with confidence to see its business consistently grow by 10-15% after delivering both inside catering services to customers ranging from weddings to corporate parties and unrivalled off-site catering services which lead to the large amount of booking from the year-end to early next year to jump by 50% coupled with over 20 leading Thai, Hong Kong, Japanese, Irish and fusion-styled restaurants under management of IMPACT which constantly generate impressive income. Tsubohachi, a renowned Japanese restaurant, has recently launched its latest branch in Sukhumvit 33. In addition, IMPACT has recently appointed the new F&B director to oversee personnel development plan and to develop new menus in ‘a la minute’ style to increase its diversity of food services to support the influx of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) at the end of this year.
Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the operator of IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, said: “Although this year seems to be the fall of many businesses, our F&B business has still received the tremendous feedback from customers, particularly weddings, corporate parties and outside catering services. The amount of booking from the year-end to early next year has dramatically increasing and expected to grow by 50% compared to the same period last year.”

Recently, Tsubohachi has opened its newest branch in Sukhumvit 33. To date, this celebrated Japanese restaurant has 6 branches in Bangkok.
What’s more, IMPACT has recently appointed the new F&B director who has an international extensive experience and capabilities in hospitality industry to oversee and monitor personnel development plan and develop new menus in ‘a la minute’ style, emphasizing diversity of food services to support the influx of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)at the end of this year which will likely affect the F&B business to grow by 10-15%.

IMPACT reported the financial results for the third quarter that its F&B sector could generate over 102-million-baht income which is higher than initial target of 94 million baht. In addition, the large amount of booking rate at the year-end including corporate parties and weddings will significantly affect the full-year total revenue of F&B business to achieve the target of at least 400 million baht or 6% of the corporate gross income.
