Comprehensive lineup of exhibitors and activities at CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2019

CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2019 (“CEBIT 2019”) returns to deliver 214 exhibiting companies from 12 countries. Organized by IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. (“IMPACT”), and supported by Deutsche Messe AG. CEBIT 2019 is expected to welcome 8,000 visitors; host more than 200 business-matched meetings; and present 17 knowledge conference sessions by over 80 speakers. The exhibition covers the entire technology and digital spectrum, creating a content-driven platform and a comprehensive business and knowledge event for the industry.

The event gathers over 200 exhibitors from 12 countries in various fields of technology, with over 80 technology and digital experts coming to share experiences and update the upcoming digital trends to help adding to the body of knowledge and sparking new business development ideas. Not only does this event benefit entrepreneurs but it also raises awareness among the general public on the digital economy and society.”

Mr. Permsuk Sutchaphiwat, Chief Inspector General, MHESI, stated “CEBIT ASEAN Thailand is ASEAN’s forum of business innovation and digitization and the business platform for IT professionals, SMEs, startups and entrepreneurs to build and expand their business in this digital age effectively. Also, it is a showcase of current technology knowledge and trends. One of MHESI’s main missions is to create business opportunities and future for human resources. MHESI’s goals are to stimulate Thai people to become Smart Citizens, as well as to produce new graduates ready for new careers. Enhancing labour skills and capabilities (Reskill & Upskill) to increase income and ability to increase career standard to support future digital technology, are necessary. In addition, establishing and evolving knowledge and innovation through a network of affiliated researchers and the development of research ecosystem will facilitate and promote the private sector to invest in research and development which will benefit innovation entrepreneurs in the future.”

Ms. Kanokporn Damrongkul, Director of Exhibition Department, TCEB, said “TCEB has a policy to use trade shows as a tool in driving the growth of 12 focus industries in the Thailand 4.0 initiative. Supporting CEBIT ASEAN Thailand for the second year is in line with such policy and it is a showcase of the dynamism and opportunities of the digital industry in Thailand. The National Science and Technology Development Agency, Innovation Technology Assistance Program (“ITAP”), Thailand Science Park and Software Park Thailand are hosting the SME Clinic to help SMEs develop their business processes with technology. Consultants will be at CEBIT 2019, to offer their advice, as well as information on available subsidies/funding.

Tech Organization & Association Seminars

Software Park Thailand, Thai eCommerce Association and Thai Embedded Systems Association will be sharing their expertise and insights to issues ranging from effects of the disruptive digital era, to trends and opportunities in the South East Asian region.
