“Hong Kong Fisherman” celebrates and carries on Dragon Boat Festival with “Cantonese-style Rice Dumpling”

“Hong Kong Fisherman”, an authentic Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant operated by IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, welcomes and carries on Dragon Boat Festival, another important festival that Chinese people carry on the tradition for a long time. The festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. This year, the restaurant brings back the original “Cantonese-style Rice Dumpling” for everyone to try. Rice dumpling costs 325 baht/piece, and 2 pieces in a beautiful bamboo basket is sold at 888 baht. The sticky rice with Chinese sausage will be available for both dine-in and takeout from 25 May - 3 June 2022 at “Hong Kong Fisherman.”

The distinctiveness of rice dumplings at Hong Kong Fisherman is the result of a careful selection of quality ingredients and the chef's secret recipe. Chef selects premium quality glutinous rice and soaks the rice in water before bringing it to steam with meats and other healthy grains which include pork belly, Chinese mushroom, Chinese sausage, chestnuts, peanut, ginkgo nuts, dried scallops, salted egg yolk, and roasted duck. The combination of premium quality ingredients, meticulous cooking method and elegant packaging make this “Cantonese-style Rice Dumpling” perfect for sending to your loved ones as a gift. 

To enhance your tasting experience, the “Cantonese-style Rice Dumpling” can be consumed with either soy sauce, special Hong Kong-style sauce or sugar.
