2 Chinese restaurants operated by IMPACT invite everyone to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival and indulge in scrumptious sticky rice dumplings from 9-22 June 2023

In celebration of Dragon Boat Festival, which is an important traditional festival in Chinese culture, two Chinese restaurants operated by IMPACT including Hong Kong Fisherman and HEI YIN are offering scrumptious sticky rice dumplings (Zongzi) from 9-22 June 2023.

Let’s get into the festive spirit with “Hong Kong-style Sticky Rice Dumpling with Dried Scallops and Assorted Meat” (380 baht/piece) from Hong Kong Fisherman. The sticky rice dumplings are wrapped in bamboo and lotus leaves and filled with various ingredients. The head chef Chow Tai Shing uses premium quality glutinous rice and soaks the rice in water overnight before stir-frying it with premium ingredients such as dried scallops imported from Hong Kong, pork, dried shrimps, Chinese sausage, barbecued pork, and roasted duck. After wrapping all the ingredients together, the sticky rice dumplings are steamed to perfection. This traditional delicacy is available from 10-22 June 2023.

The “Premium Hong Kong Style Sticky Rice Dumpling” from HEI YIN spearheaded by the highly-skilled executive chef Jacky Chan, who has more than 40 years of professional culinary experience, is another must try. HEI YIN’s sticky rice dumplings are meticulously crafted from fine quality ingredients including sticky rice, abalone, crispy pork, dried scallops, mung bean, pork belly, lotus seeds, salted egg yolk, and Chinese mushroom. There are three options available. One piece of sticky rice dumpling for dine-in is 420++ baht. For takeout, one piece is 688 baht while two pieces cost 1,288 baht. All takeout orders will be packed in a bamboo steamer basket. This festive treat is available from 9-22 June 2023.
