The Opening Ceremony of ‘Makro HoReCa 2014’

Mr. Boonyarit Kalayanamit,Director-General of the department of Internal Trade (DIT), Ministry of Commerce, graciously presided over the opening ceremony of Makro HoReCa 2014 organized by Siam Makro Public Company Limited, under the concept of ‘The Signature – Identity can be created in Your Own Style’, focusing on creative economy to develop business potential of HoReCa which has been growing at an annual rate of over 15 percent, worth over trillion baht. This event aims to enhance its competitiveness in international markets and the liberalization of trade in ASEAN. Ideally for those who are interested in hotel, restaurant and catering business, Makro HoReCa 2014 highlights cooking competition to search for the world’s talented and professional chefs, plus some celebrated chefs and Thai stars who are successful in the culinary industry will unveil their business secrets as well as signature dishes. The four-day event is held from October 30to November 2, 2014 at Hall 2-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani
