The opening ceremony of Illegal Lending and Debt Conference

The prime minister of Thailand and Minister of Finance Srettha Thavisin presides at a conference pertaining to informal debt and loans, which considerably affects the Thai economy at large and calls for urgent attention to tackling this growing crime. Joined by Executive of the Ministry of Interior, Executive of Royal Thai Police Office, Governors of every province, and more than 3,000 government officials, the conference focuses on forming collaborations among the government, law enforcement, and police as well as finding possible solutions for illegal lending.
