IMPACT to host “Thailand Bicycle Race 2015” in response to the growing bicycle market worth over 6,500 million baht

Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. revealed: “The current cycling trend is gaining tremendous popularity among people of all ages that makes bicycle market growing 10-15% each year worth 6,500 billion baht in accordance with the government policies to encourage people to use bicycles for reducing energy consumption and promoting good health, plus a plan to improve the bicycle lanes nationwide.”

Hence, IMPACT has joined forces with Pakkred Municipality to organize the ‘Thailand Bicycle Race 2015’ – Thailand’s first ever event that features four bicycle races including Road Bike, Mountain Bike, BMX Dirt and Old School BMX under one roof to be held from October 31 to November 1, 2015, from 6 AM – 8 PM. at Lakeside, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

At ‘Thailand Bicycle Race 2015’, a wide array of can’t-miss activities will be offered to bike lovers such as Old School BMX show, second hand bicycle zone, guru zone for beginners, bicycle auction zone as well as mini concert and awesome performances by DJ. What’s more, this event will bring together over 100 top brands and companies across the globe to showcase their latest products and services on the total area of 150,000 square meters.

This fun-filled event is expected to attract over 3,000 cyclists and over 10,000 visitors locally and internationally. Therefore, a pre-event ‘Pun Pun Together’ will be launched as the important prelude of ‘Thailand Bicycle Race 2015’ to be held at the end of the year for cyclists to first test ride FREE on May 10, 2015 at Lakeside, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Over 1,000 cyclists including famous actors and national athletes have confirmed to take part in the event including Mr. Wuttisit Suebsuwan (Tem UHT), Mr. Thanat Watchara-apiya (Poo Nim), Mr. Sirakup Methanee, SM.1 Sitthichai Rittisin, Ms. Kritika Silaphat, to name a few.

For those who decide to take part in ‘Thailand Bicycle Race 2015’ at the pre-event will immediately get 50% discount on all cycling race categories while having a chance to be a part of charity as 50% of the money will be presented to the Nonthaburi Sports Association. On top of this, a lot of fun and exciting activities will be offered for visitors including road bike race, cross-country (XC) cycling race, kids balance bike race, old school BMX bike race and BMX street bike race.
