Food and Beverage Department at IMPACT enhances delish experience with French-style frozen bakery

Mr. Lawrence Tan, Director of Food and Beverage of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, said: “Our F&B business has persistently received excellent feedback from customers. Since last year (April 2015 - March 2016), F&B business recorded total revenue of 314 million baht, mainly derived from seminar and conference segment. Apart from food and beverage services at the party and events taking place at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, coffee break service, which we have been serving approximately 2 million coffee break sets annually, becomes another great choice for customers.

"Over the past few years, IMPACT has introduced ‘healthy bakery menu’ made from nutritional ingredients in response to the healthy eating trend as well as an assortment of healthy bread and pastry products which help generate 26.1 million baht in revenue for our business.

"Following the success of healthy bakery products, IMPACT has embarked on the new “frozen bakery products,” which have the ability to maintain their freshness and taste as if they were freshly baked in a store and can last for months when kept under refrigeration. These bakeries are perfect for a quick treat and easy, healthy, and ready in just minutes saving up time taking out the guest work without scarifying flavor. 

"Introducing over 100 French-style frozen sweet items to meet the different needs of diverse customer groups, we plan to sell them across all of our restaurants including Thai restaurant ‘Manorah’, Chinese restaurants ‘Hong Kong Fisherman’ and ‘Hong Kong Café’, Japanese restaurants ‘Tsubohachi’, ‘Taisho-Tei Ramen’ and ‘Ito-Kacho’ as well as fusion restaurants ‘Terrazza’, ‘Bistro De Champagne’, ‘Noodle Nation’ and ‘Flann O’Brien’s Irish Pub’ which currently have over 21 branches located in and outside the exhibition center – all persistently generates impressive income. Recently, Tsubohachi has celebrated its newest branch at Future Park Rangsit, making a total of seven locations across Bangkok. In addition, the French-style frozen bakery will be introduced at the line buffet of leading restaurants in Novotel Bangkok IMPACT and the upcoming “ibis” hotel, which is due to open its door for business in early 2017, Mr. Lawrence added.

Mr. Ruechatchai Phlangsoosirichai, a.k.a “Chef Joe”, pastry chef of IMPACT Bakery said: “There are two types of frozen bakery products: the ready-to-bake and frozen dough products which can be stored up to 6 months and allows customers to decorate their creation with unlimited creative designs. I’m confident that our frozen bakery business will flourish.” Customers will not only recognize IMPACT as a venue that provides first-class catering services but also a premier bakery and pastry shop that is ideally perfect for customers who have insufficient time and minimal experience in baking.
