IMPACT ready to facilitate over 10,000 students attending Triam Udom Suksa School's entrance examination

Huge crowds will be flocking to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani this weekend to attend several big events. IMPACT prepares to facilitate Triam Udom Suksa School's entrance examination which will take place on Sunday, April 1, 2018 with more than 10,000 applicants. To provide the utmost convenience for students and parents attending the exam as well as those attending Bangkok International Motor Show, Robinson Shop Mun Sanun Muang and Disney On Ice, IMPACT will provide rest area and parking spaces at Hall 6-8 from 5 am onwards in addition to indoor and outdoor parking spaces that can accommodate up to 15,000 vehicles. Traffic facilitation center and 24-hour hotline 0-2833-5445-7 are set up to provide updates on traffic conditions in Muang Thong Thani area.

According to Miss Jintana Phongpakdee, Corporate Communications Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the operator of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, IMPACT is preparing to facilitate Triam Udom Suksa School's entrance examination attended by 11,374 students from all around the country, which will take place on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 8 am to 5 pm at IMPACT Forum Muang Thong Thani.

Other big events taking place on the same day include Bangkok International Motor Show from 11 am to 10 pm at Challenger Hall, Robinson Shop Mun Sanun Muang from 10 am to 10 pm at Hall 5, and Disney On Ice at IMPACT Arena, which is scheduled for 10.30 am, 2.30 pm and 6.30 pm. IMPACT is expected to welcome over 100,000 visitors during this event-packed Sunday. Those planning to attend events on the day are suggested to plan their routes ahead of time and leave home 1-2 hours earlier to avoid heavy traffic in the area.   

IMPACT Exhibition Hall 6 will serve as a designated rest area providing seating and air conditioning from 6 am to 6 pm for those attending Triam Udom Suksa School's entrance examination. Apart from Indoor Parking 1-3 and outdoor parking facilities including AKTIV Square and Outdoor Parking 4-6 that can accommodate up to 15,000 vehicles, IMPACT will also provide parking spaces at Hall 7 and 8, which can accommodate up to 500 vehicles, for parents of students taking the exam and visitors to other events taking place at IMPACT. The parking facilities mentioned will be open from 5 am until midnight. 

IMPACT has also asked for cooperation from providers and operators of public transport vehicles including taxis, vans, buses, and mini buses to run more frequently on that day to handle big crowds travelling to and from the convention center. In addition, security staff will be assigned to facilitate traffic flow and provide visitors with directions to their destinations. Tow truck and amplifier are also in place in case of emergency or when requested. IMPACT will also coordinate with local traffic police officers to help facilitate the traffic. Venue directory and maps will also be available to help locate event venues and parking spaces. There will also be coaches and shuttle buses to transport visitors from parking areas to event venues. The bridge connecting IMPACT Lakefront and the convention center will also be open for visitors’ convenience and safety. 

In addition, IMPACT will have a team to report traffic conditions from time to time via radio channels such as Jor Sor 100 and Sor Wor Por 91 as well social media like Twitter, Facebook, IMPACT Venue, IMPACT Application and IMPACT website. Traffic facilitation center and 24-hour hotline 0-2833-5445-7 are also set up to handle inquiries about traffic conditions and directions to and from IMPACT Muang Thong Thani as well as complaints about public transport.
