IMPACT cuts electric consumption to save13 million baht
MICE operations at IMPACT have reducedenergy use for the second year in a row. The exhibition management company said it has managed to save over 10 million baht in electric expenses during the first half of this year. By continuing this trend the company will be able to save more than its initial target of 13 millionbahtand prove its commitment as a GREEN venue.

IMPACT Chefs Turn Thai Food & Chocolate into Gold
World culinary judges bestowed top honors for chefs at Thailand’s largest MICE venue. Fine dining is not only reserved for the world’s top restaurants. The professional chefs at IMPACT won gold medals for their skills preparing modern Thai cuisine and creating a chocolate sculpture at Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge. Over 300 professional chefs entered in this interdisciplinary competition which was held over five days.

IMPACT launches sky bridges connecting the Convention Center and the Lake side to welcome BOI Fair 2011. The sky bridges were built at a total cost of Bt90 million to facilitate over 5 million exhibitors and visitors to the 16-day fair, which will take place from January 5th – 20th, 2011.

IMPACT Invests 7 Million Baht to Upgrade the Security System within the Venue
IMPACT continuously operates under the TIS 22300; Security Management System for Meeting Incentive Convention and Exhibition (MICE) to gain more trusts from domestic and international exhibitors and visitors. With expected numbers of 300,000 visitors in May to visit Thailand’s Paradise Fair, 3rd Super Car and Import Car Show, Money Expo 2012 and THAIFEX World of Food Asia 2012, IMPACT invests over 7 million baht to improve its security systems by installing light fixtures as well as adding 512 more CCTV cameras and CCTV control room at the venue in order to monitor the areas, reduce fear of crime, secure a safer environment, and detect or prevent crimes at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
